The world's leading trade fair takes place in Hanover from 23 to 27 April 2018. RK Rose+Krieger will be attending again this year. This time the focus of the trade fair appearance in hall 16, on stand E18, is on the latest developments from the field of linear technology – including 100% corrosion-resistant single-tube actuators and lifting columns for clean room applications – and a new, particularly compact design of the RK monitor holder, specially for conditions of use with limited installation space.
The E-II single-tube linear unit is an all-rounder for format adjustment. Just in time for the Hanover trade fair, the stainless steel version of the popular actuator is now available in the common sizes 30 and 40. The E-II stainless steel is 100% corrosion-resistant and, compared to standard units, it has an upgraded temperature range of -30 to +80°C – a further increase is even available on request. Given that the new stainless steel actuators also operate with FDA-approved lubricants and are also suitable for washing down, they are recommended, for instance, for width, height and length adjustment in packaging machines for the food industry.
There is once again a new addition to the successful product family of elegant and durable Multilift II lifting columns. The standard variant and a telescoping version (Multilift II telescope) were very recently followed by the Multilift II impact with integrated damping, the Multilift II ESD with profiles with an electrically conductive connection and the Multilift II safety with integrated drop protection. The Multilift II clean has now been added to the range. It has been deliberately developed for use in the clean room. A special shroud for the DC motor with brushes of the lifting column means discharge of particles is kept to a minimum. To verify its suitability for use in clean rooms, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA carried out a particle emissions test as per DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and certified the lifting column for use in clean rooms up to a globally valid class 4.
RK Rose+Krieger now supplies its tried-and-tested RK monitor mounting for operating terminals, monitors and other display devices with a short construction length as the "compact" version. The new mounting is 50 mm shorter than the respective standard mounting and can be used flexibly and universally wherever there is restricted available space. The connection for the display devices is established using a universal plate or VESA mount. The end user has the choice between VESA 50/75 (new) and VESA 75/100. Thanks to the ball joint on the device connection the RK compact monitor holder provides a great degree of freedom. The variable fixing principle with half shells and reducing inserts for round and square tubes allows installation on profiles and tubes with edge lengths or diameters of 20, 25 or 30 mm.
