RK Rose+Krieger at Motek

New products from the field of linear and connecting technology

From 5 to 8 October 2021 Motek will once again be welcoming trade visitors from all around the world to Stuttgart. RK Rose+Krieger will also be taking advantage of this trade fair to present numerous new products to customers. They will include new sizes of the RK MonoLine linear unit for the medium load range and an additional actuator version with integrated locking element for vertical use. In addition, the RK stand system, further tube connector versions with ball joint and the sixth member of the successful family of lifting columns, Multilift II with internal carriage, will all be unveiled. The new RKX configuration software for the MultiControl II drive controller is a particular highlight.

RKX software – control configuration made easy

With the newly developed RKX software, RK Rose+Krieger now makes it easier for users of the MultiControl II drive controller to configure individual control profiles. Instead of using hand switches, the system can now be operated conveniently and much quicker from a PC. This software has two distinct advantages over comparable solutions. It displays motor currents and other operating parameters in real time – even in bus systems with up to 32 drives – and allows service and fault histories to be read out and exported.

Multilift II with internal carriage

The new member of the Multilift II lifting column family is the ideal solution wherever a vertical adjusting movement is required in combination with a defined installation dimension. As a dual-column system, the lifting column with internal carriage, strokes lengths of up to 500 mm and fixing slots in the external profile, is predestined for material lifting mechanisms next to a height-adjustable assembly workstation. When combined with the premium version of the MultiControl II quadro drive controller, all lifting columns can be moved individually, in parallel or synchronously using the controller's drive group management.

RK MonoLine – new sizes and integrated locking system

The standout features of the compact, belt-driven linear units in the RK MonoLine range are their high power/weight ratio and very good value for money. They have been specially engineered for accurate repetition of pick & place, palletising and loading and unloading processes in the medium load range, and combine high rigidity with smooth running performance, a repeatability of +/- 0.1 mm and maximum acceleration of 20 m/s². The actuator types RK MonoLine Z and RK MonoLine MT featuring profiles with optimised deflection in sizes 80x120 and 80x160 have now also been added to the range of actuators. At the same time, RK Rose+Krieger has expanded the RK MonoLine MT actuator range to include models with an integrated locking system for securing the load when arranged vertically.

RK stand system – for precise holding and positioning of loads up to 60 kg

The new RK stand system is a further example of the versatile configuration options made possible by the mutually compatible RK Rose+Krieger product ranges. It provides maximum stability for holding and positioning industrial marking/labelling, display and operating devices, such as labelling machines, optical readers, camera systems and 3D scanners – to name but a few. Loads of up to 60 kg can be aligned precisely and adapted simply to changing requirements.

Plastic and aluminium tube connectors with ball joint

A total of eleven new tube connector models with ball joint have now been added to the RK Rose+Krieger "Light" and "Solid" clamp ranges. New to the range are  sleeve clamps, angled and hinged clamps with an integrated ball joint – these comprise seven versions made of aluminium in sizes 18 and 30, and four ball clamps made of plastic in size 18. The Minden-based company thus supplies ideal connection options for equipment such as sensors, reflectors and display devices, which have to be aligned or readjusted frequently.

Comprehensive certification for Multilift II lifting columns

The Multilift II lifting columns with wide-range input now also have CB Report certification as per IEC 61010-1, FCC Part 15/Subpart B/Class B and UL 61010-1/CSA C22.2 No.61010-1. For the user this means that end products are easier to certify and also easier to export. At the same time, the regular production inspections required for certification ensure that the systems function reliably.
