RK Rose+Krieger has upgraded its system for task-specific, ergonomic workstations. The height of its work benches is now adjusted via the lifting columns of the Multilift II family.
Just last autumn, RK Rose+Krieger launched its new twin-tube linear actuator with ball screw drive onto the market – in the standard size 40. It has now followed up with a smaller version of this high-precision, ultra-flexible linear unit, which is also 100% compatible with the existing EP(X) product range.
The polished solid shafts and ball linings of the EPX-II KG enableeven greater accuracy during dynamic movement, precise positioning in continuous operation, and ensure smooth running and a particularly long service life.
In addition to its much well-known MultiControl II basic lifting column control, the Linear Technology division is now offering a version for more demanding requirements. The MultiControll II premium offers three additional software functions: an integrated collision detection "Smart Product Protection", as well as absolute and relative positioning. The software function "Absolute Positioning" enables high-precision travel to a pre-defined position within the overall adjustment range. The function "Relative Positioning" enables gradual positioning in relation to the current position of the drive.
The integrated collision detection SPP detects obstacles during up and down travel – regardless of load or other ambient parameters – and stops in time to protect the product. Customers can adjust the delicacy of feel to suit their own requirements. Because the technology is completely integrated in the control, there are no protruding contours and no further assembly steps are required, which makes the MultiControl II Premium a truly user-friendly Plug&Play solution.
The product family of aluminium Solid Clamp tube connectors has a new addition: size 30 base clamps, sleeve clamps and hinge clamps are now also available for delivery with integrated ball joint.
There is once again a new addition to the successful product family of elegant and durable Multilift II lifting columns. The standard variant and a telescoping version (Multilift II telescope) were very recently followed by the Multilift II impact with integrated damping, the Multilift II ESD with profiles with an electrically conductive connection and the Multilift II safety with integrated drop protection. The Multilift II clean has now been added to the range. It has been deliberately developed for use in the clean room.
RK Rose+Krieger now supplies its tried-and-tested RK monitor mounting for operating terminals, monitors and other display devices with a short construction length as the "compact" version. The new mounting is 50 mm shorter than the respective standard mounting and can be used flexibly and universally wherever there is restricted available space. The variable fixing principle with half shells and reducing inserts for round and square tubes allows installation on profiles and tubes with edge lengths or diameters of 20, 25 or 30 mm.
RK Rose+Krieger has expanded its support arm system for its RK monitor mounting with a telescopic support arm (basic length: 495 mm). In its extended state (720 mm), it is designed for monitors, display devices and operating terminals weighing up to 5 kg. With its new swivel arm, RK Rose+Krieger expands its combination options and enables greater ergonomic adaptation of end devices to the working environment.
Just in time for the Hanover trade fair, the stainless steel version of the popular actuator is now available in the common sizes 30 and 40. The E-II stainless steel is 100% corrosion-resistant and, compared to standard units, it has an upgraded temperature range of -30 to +80°C – a further increase is even available on request.
The tablet holder allows the quick and easy mounting of display devices (tablet PC, iPad, display, etc.) on the machine
RK Rose+Krieger has expanded its EP(X)II twin tube units by adding a size 30 version. Higher precision and lower tolerances of the mounting surfaces to one another are the key features that characterise the new improved version of the EP/EPX linear units for the occasional through to the frequent movement and positioning of medium to high loads in any assembly position. The robust twin tube unit compensates for high bending moments during manual and motor-driven adjustments, is compatible with its predecessors and is easier to maintain and clean. Contributing towards the ease of maintenance is the new lead nut concept: the split lead nut enables simple replacement in the case of wear and tear – no need to dismantle the linear actuator.
With the presentation of the RK DuoLine 120 Z at Motek 2011, Rose+Krieger unveils a new timing-belt-driven version of its successful RK DuoLine linear guide product range in size 120. The DuoLine range now offers five different linear units: sizes 160 and 80, available as both a timing-belt and a spindle-driven version, and the new RK DuoLine 120 Z.
