System solutions for semiconductor technology
Our subsidiary RK Antriebs- und Handhabungs-Technik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing system solutions for the semiconductor industry for many years, taking into account the special requirements in the clean room. As well as supplying standard products, we also solve the customers' specific handling assignments. We currently have hundreds of systems which have been successfully positioned on the market. We always develop our solutions by working closely with the customer. In the process, the focus is on quality, function and cost-efficiency.
RK DuoLine Clean – linear actuators for use in clean rooms
RK Rose+Krieger has optimised its RK Duoline profile linear unit for use in clean rooms as well and supplies spindle and belt-driven RK Duoline Clean linear actuators, with or without vacuum connection, in the common sizes 60 and 80. A total of eight different versions passed EN ISO 14644-1 testing to be awarded cleanroom certification in the global classifications 1 (RK Duoline Clean 60 SU with 0.5 m/s vacuum suction) to 5 (RK Duoline Clean 80 Z without 0.5 m/s vacuum suction). All the requisite clean room suitability tests were conducted at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart.

Multilift II clean lifting column – height adjustment made easy
The Multilift II clean lifting column is part of the comprehensive lifting column portfolio, which was specifically designed for use in clean rooms. A special cover on the lifting column's DC motor with brushes minimises the ejection of particles. To verify its suitability for use in clean rooms, the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA carried out a particle emissions test as per DIN EN ISO 14644-1 and certified the lifting column for use in clean rooms up to a globally valid class 4.

Stainless steel tube connectors make for easier assembly and greater flexibility
The clampable tube connectors from RK Rose+Krieger are a cost-efficient solution for the positive and ready detachable connection of a diverse variety of systems – without the need for drilling and welding.
The high-strength stainless steel tube connectors from the Robust Clamps range are extremely temperature- and corrosion-resistant and are specially designed for dynamic loads. They create high clamping forces and provide reliable, high-strength connections, including for dynamic loads. Exterior hex screws make for easy installation with standard tools, while a silicone coating protects the threads against soiling and damage. Smooth contour transitions optimise resistance to torsional stresses and, in conjunction with the blind hole design, low surface roughness and large slots on the connection itself, they also minimise dirt accumulation.

ITAS – industrial stairs and working platform system
The industrial stairs and working platform system (ITAS) from RK Rose+Krieger is a real all-rounder: It provides a technically reliable solution for railings, boundaries, pedestals, stairs, crossovers and working platforms, all without the need for welding. The facilities created can be dismantled or varied at any time. With a modification to the standard product, the flexible system can even be used in clean rooms. The general prerequisites are catered for: The system not only meets the safety requirements as per DIN EN ISO 141221-4, but also features further convenient properties: These include smooth contours and internal clamp connections which are used to connect the tubes and profiles to each other without troublesome transitions. This not only makes for a pleasant feel, but also prevents gloves or work clothing from getting caught, thus contributing to the safety of the users. At the same time, the smooth contours make it easier to clean the individual ITAS elements and modules before locking them in clean rooms or hygiene-sensitive production areas.
