Cable channel system made from aluminium –

added value in the detail

Cable channel system

Fast assembly and perfect organisation

Modern machines contain countless power, data and control cables, along with pneumatic hoses. In large systems, the total length of these can quickly add up to several thousand metres. Cable channels make it easier to organise and assemble these cables.

  • Product benefits:
  • Cable management meets designer profile technology
  • Multiple options for laying cables in a straightforward and intelligent manner
  • 5 different cable channel sizes can be selected to suit the number and type of cables
  • Easy assembly on the BLOCAN® profiles
  • Separating strips provide a good and well-ordered overview when laying cables again at a later date

Fast assembly and perfect organisation

The BLOCAN® cable channel system made from anodised aluminium impresses not only with its attractive design, but also through a multitude of well thought out details, which offer the customer considerable added value and greatly facilitate their work.
The cable channels in sizes 40, 40x20, 40x80, 80x40 and 80x80 can be supplied as 6 metre bars or cut to length. They are also available with mounting holes, which is a new feature for aluminium cable channels. These can be very quickly attached to a BLOCAN® profile slot by means of a pivoting mounting clip.

Channel functionality

Easy to open / excellent accessibility

The cable channels feature a cover that can either be removed by lifting it upwards or pivoted open by up to 90° along the length of the channel.

Separating strips create order in the cable channel

Order made easy. In addition to the pivoting cover, installers also value the optional plastic separating strips, which ensure that the individual hoses, signal lines and power cables in the cable channel can be easily separated and well structured. The separating strips also facilitate overhead assembly. When inserted in the cable channel, they prevent the installed cables and channels from falling out. The separating strips can be opened at any time to allow the installation of further cables.

Assembly of the cable channel

Easy assembly (without machining) with BLOCAN profiles

They are also available with mounting holes, which is a new feature for aluminium cable channels. These can be very quickly attached to a BLOCAN profile slot by means of a pivoting mounting clip.

Here too, the RK Rose+Krieger product philosophy takes hold – connection without drilling! Simply cut the aluminium profiles to length and assemble them.

Equipotential bonding

An equipotential bonding kit, available as an accessory, can be inserted directly into the slot of the aluminium profile.
Through a self tapping screw in the cover, an electrically conducting connection can be created.

Insertable spring strips hold the cover in position

The optionally available spring strips hold the cover open in any position, so it can remain attached to the cable channel instead of having to be put to one side. If the cable channel is installed horizontally (wall-mounted), the cover opens downwards and stays in a horizontal position, allowing it to be used as a tray for pre-assembling cables and hoses.

Assembly strips facilitate overhead assembly

Press-fit separating strips for fitting into the cable channel are also among the accessories available, allowing hoses, signal lines and power cables to be kept separate. In addition, thought has been given to making it easier to lay several different cable assemblies. A flexible assembly strip prevents the installed cables from falling out, and can be opened at any time to allow the installation of further cables. This is particularly advantageous for overhead installation.

Assembly strips

The press-fit separating and assembly strips can be used to separate lines or facilitate overhead working.

Spring strips

Spring strips

Spring strips hold the cover of the cable channel open in any position, so it does not need to be removed when laying cables or carrying out maintenance work. That makes the job easier and saves time.
