Lean management

LEAN is an effective strategy and philosophy for increasing productivity in a company and systematically minimising waste and inefficiency.
Within the production process, there are frequently sources of waste, such as intermediate storage/buffer stocks, long distances, waiting, and searching for the necessary materials.
From the perspective of LEAN management, there are substantial opportunities for improvement which have an appreciable effect on the efficiency of the value stream as a whole.
Eliminating such bottlenecks and producing goods in the smallest possible batches with a continuously flowing process - this is key to achieving flexible and, above all, efficient manufacturing.

What is waste?

Optimisation of value creation is essential!

What is waste?

Only approx. 10%-15% of a process involves value-adding work. Approx. 50% is waste and approx. 35%-40% support activities.
