RK Rose+Krieger expands the RK DuoLine product range
With the presentation of the RK DuoLine 120 Z at Motek 2011, Rose+Krieger unveils a new timing-belt-driven version of its successful RK DuoLine linear guide product range in size 120. The DuoLine range now offers five different linear units: sizes 160 and 80, available as both a timing-belt and a spindle-driven version, and the new RK DuoLine 120 Z.
From January 2012, the new linear guide with timing-belt drive will also be optionally available with a 25-mm ball rail or with two 15-mm rails. As with all RK DuoLine linear actuators, an internal ball rail guide ensures a high load capacity, dynamism and a long service life.
RK Duoline 80, RK Duoline 120, RK Duoline160As with all RK DuoLine linear units, the RK DuoLine 80 S also features internal ball rail guides for high load capacity, dynamism and service life. Especially with the size 80 RK linear guides, output is exceptionally high in relation to the size of the actuator. This is an advantage, particularly for highly dynamic applications.
All linear actuators of the RK DuoLine range can be encapsulated with a stainless steel strip to give an IP 40 protection rating. The timing-belt-driven version has an impressive energy-saving no-load torque of just 2.5 Nm. Central lubricating access via tapered lubrication nipples located directly on the carriage keeps maintenance to a minimum. T-rails with tapped holes facilitate the connection of rated loads. The product range will also be gradually expanded to include a spindle-driven RK DuoLine 120 and belt-driven and spindle-driven versions of size 60.

The timing-belt-driven version features an extremely flexible and space-saving motor configuration: Customers have the advantage that they can modify the axis-motor configuration at any time and are not required to make a decision at the ordering stage regarding a specific version.
