Introduction of products – News on the RK product variety

The following press releases are sorted according to their date of publication.

RK Rose+Krieger presented the new BLOCAN® cable channel system in anodized aluminium for the first time at this year’s MOTEK.
The cover on the cable channel is removable and can also be rotated by up to 90° if required. Elastic strips, available as an optional accessory, can be used to keep the open cover in any position.

According to Rose+Krieger this new generation of RK DuoLine
linear units, which are supplied with a spindle or timing belt will
bring greater flexibility to automation. Thinking about on which
side the motor drive should be positioned is no longer necessary.
Optional coupling and motor adapters can be attached to all four
hollow shaft outputs on the idler unit. Not only does this simplify
positioning, customers can also configure and adjust the axial
motor themselves.

The integration of components in systems makes cost-effective manufacture of machines and plant necessary. The purpose of using components is also to improve the technical availability of complete systems. It is at this point where product development in the LZ8 electric cylinder series from Rose+Krieger starts.

RK safety guarding systems now meet the new machinery directive 2006/42/EC

Post and safety fence element are securely attached to one another by means of a modern connector that meets the legal requirements for safety guard systems. Posts and safety fence ele-ments are supplied with all mounting parts pre-fitted, allowing the safety fence elements to be assembled without tools. Once the posts have been fixed to the ground, the safety fence elements are simply inserted at the bottom and pressed into place at the top – done!

The new version of Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC comes into force on 29.12.2009. The new rules are relevant primarily for manufacturers of automation equipment, handling systems, integrated manufacturing systems and machine tools. The focus is on vertical moving systems (also known as Z axes) which until now were onlybraked, but not locked.
