Bent extruded aluminium profiles enable the making of interesting constructions. Whether for If reasons of function or design – bent profiles are used more and more often in the machine industry. Prerequisite is the manufacturing of highly precise radii and radius distributions without deforming the profile cross-sections. Most modern CNC-controlled bending processes preserve the profile geometry so that slot stones can continue to be used without any problems.
Generally, the  profiles are formed when they already are anodized. This requires a minimal radius and avoids microcracks in the anodized coating. If, however, a smaller radius is desired, it will be sufficient to anodize it subsequently, to meet the visual requirements.
